current event #9

This current event is about the recent amount of shark sightings in the South Florida beaches. Life guards say that there is usual migration similar to this during this time of season but they have never seen so many like this before. They have taken precaution and have been warning future spring breakers to stay out of the water when they say to.
The community impact of this is that some people say thats its just what you get for living in south florida but it also brings danger. Lifeguards have been warned to take as much precaution as they can but they cannot stop this from happening. Also, people that go to public beaches have a better chance of attack because there are no lifeguards on public beaches. It restricts many people from going in the water now because of real precaution or just the simple thought of fear.
My reaction to this was exactly that, fear. One of my biggest fears are sharks and this makes it even worse knowing that they are so close. Even though we have lifeguards, they cannot control the actions of the sharks.
