Practice Cutouts

I searched Channing Tatum into google images and dragged this image to the desktop then selected it under the Desktop file.

I dragged this image from google images into the Ps application then used the lasso tool to cut around it. I then copied the cut image and pasted it to a new document. I saved the imaged into JPEG and then transferred onto my blog.

I learned all about different photographers and their different genres with the Photographer Presentation project. I would like to learn how to enhance my presentation skills by not rabbling as much.

Adventures project

Charlie the Duck realized how beautiful of a day out it was or so it seemed...

She decided to hop up onto the handle and take a little stroll but she didn't know what was to come...

After spotting the water fountain she thought it would quench her thirst from her long trip...

She was very satisfied as the water dripped off her mouth...

Tired from her walk she decided her take a nice break and enjoy the scenery...

The water looked so refreshing and cooling that she thought she would take a quick dip...

When then she spotted her friend the pigeon! They both had a very nice chat...

After saying goodbye to everyone it was time for her to return home, she decided to go the safe way and cross at the set crossing station...

After waiting and waiting for the cars to stop she gave up and decided to just J-Walk...

That was not such a good idea. As she was crossing a speeding red safari came approaching at super fast speed...

As you can see, Charlie did not have the best of luck...R.I.P. Charlie the Duck. <3

Photographer Research

http://www.tylershields.com/photos/

I have interest in Tyler Shields because his work is colorful, edgy, and dramatic. He takes materialistic things that people obsess over and destroy them to make a statement. I like how he shows his personal opinion through this photos.

http://www.agneslopez.com/galleries/weddings-1/

I have interest in Anges Lopez because as a wedding photographer she doesn't just take a posed image but she captures the special or just maybe funny moments at the wedding that the bride experienced but may have never been able to again. With these pictures that she captured of the relationship between the bride and her guests she will be able to remember her special day for the rest of her life through these photos.

I have interest in Zena Holloway because in her photos she creates a magical fantasy land and its very mysterious but also intriguing. In some of her photographs she has the image of human mermaids and even puppets but the most interesting thing about her work is that all of the images are taken underwater.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/jul/27/london-olympics-2012-smartphone

I am interested in Dan Chung's work because i really enjoy watching the Olympic games. The athletes dedicated that participate in the games have worked so hard and dedicated four years of their life for that one week. He is practically giving back by capturing all the hard work they have accomplished.

I admire Jeremy Turner's work because he captures the essence of the Earth's beauty. God created this earth and it deserves to be worshiped and that can be done by taking a moment and sitting back and taking the picture and no matter how the environment changes, the beauty of the picture will never change.

Photo Safari

1. Low angle wide shot of the chapel (exteriors only)

2. Extreme tight shot human eye

3. Low angle long shot

4. A shot with circular repetition

5. A shot with leading lines

6. High angle full length shot

7. Low angle medium shot

8. A reflection

9. A cornerstone

10. Mr. Yocum in championship form

What I learned from this project is how to take photographs from all different kinds of angles. I found that in this project taking the actual pictures were easier than I thought and the uploading process was just as hard as I thought it was going to be. Photo composition will help my later in the year by teaching me different angle techniques that I can use in future assignments. My strongest picture from this blog project I think is the low angle medium shot because of the lighting. My weakest shot in my opinion is the low angle long shot because i do not think it is in enough focus.
